Cole Cotton is a guitarist and composer based in Brooklyn, NY. Originally from Colorado Springs, Cotton grew up influenced by classic rock and blues guitarists as well as jazz fusion groups of the 70s. After moving to New York City in  2021 to attend The New School, Cotton further developed his musicianship under the mentorship of musicians Reggie Workman, Buster Williams, Steve Cardenas, and Pasquale Grasso. Throughout his time at university, Cotton became increasingly involved in contemporary jazz composition and improvised music.
